NHL 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs Western Conference Finals: Chicago Blackhawks vs Los Angeles Kings | Blackhawks wins 4-1

NHL’s Western conference’s No. 1 seed Chicago Blackhawks will face No. 5 seed Los Angeles Kings for the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs Western Conference Finals.

Chicago reached the Western Conference Finals by beating Minnesota Wild 4-1 in the quarterfinals and then came back from a 3–1 game deficit to defeat the Detroit Red Wings in seven games 4-3 in the semifinals.

On the other hand, Los Angeles Kings earned the other Conference Finals slot by a Quarter-finals 4-2 series win against St. Louis Blues and then outlasting the San Jose Sharks in 7 games 4-3 in the semi-finals.

This is the second playoff series for these two teams. Their only previous meeting was in the 1974 Stanley Cup Quarterfinals, which Chicago won in five games.

In this year’s regular season series, the Blackhawks won two of the three games against the Kings.
