NHL’s Eastern conference’s No. 1 seed Pittsburgh Penguins will face No. 4 seed Boston Bruins for the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals.
Pittsburgh reached the Eastern Conference Finals by beating New York Islanders 4-2 in the quarterfinals and then beating Ottawa Senators 4-1 in the semifinals.
On the other hand, Boston Bruins earned the other Conference Finals slot by a Quarter-finals 4-3 series win against Toronto Maple Leafs and then beating New York Rangers 4-1 in the semi-finals.
This is the fifth playoff series for these two teams, with each team having won two of the four previous meetings.
In this year’s regular season series, the Penguins won all three games against the Bruins.
