NBA’s best record and Eastern conference’s No. 1 seed Chicago Bulls will take on No. 5 seed Atlanta Hawks for the 2011 NBA Playoffs Conference Semifinals (second round).

Chicago beat Indiana 4-1 in the 1st round while Atlanta earned a 4-2 series upset win against Orlando to advance to the 2nd round. In the regular season series, Chicago Bulls has the edge over the Hawks at 2-1.

UPDATE GAME 1: Joe Johnson scored 34 points and the Atlanta Hawks beat Derrick Rose and the top-seeded Chicago Bulls 103-95 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. D-Rose scored 24 points for the Bulls.

UPDATE GAME 2: Chicago Bulls evened the series at 1-1 after beating Atlanta 86-73 in Game 2. D-Rose scored 25 points with 10 assists for an MVP performance. Earlier in the game, Derrick Rose was awarded the MVP title for the 2010-2011 NBA season. Next game on Friday at Atlanta.

UPDATE GAME 3: MVP D-Rose scored 44 points for another MVP performance and his playoff career high as the Bulls beat the Hawks 99-82 in Game 3 to grab the series lead at 2-1.

UPDATE GAME 5: Derrick Rose scored 33 points, Luol Deng added 23 and the Chicago Bulls beat the Atlanta Hawks 95-83 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals to take a 3-2 lead.
