Eastern conference’s No. 2 seed Miami Heat will face No. 7 seed Philadelphia 76ers for the 2011 NBA Playoffs first round.

Miami Heat was eliminated by Boston Celtics last season in the first round. But this year is different as they have now the Big 3 –  Lebron James, Chris Bosh and D-wade. In the regular season series against the 76ers, Miami wins 3-0.

UPDATE GAME 2: Heat overpowered the 76ers 94-73 to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Next game will be at Philadelphia on Thursday. Watch out for it.

UPDATE GAME 3: Heat take a 3-0 series lead after beating the 76ers 100-94 in Game 3. Dwyane Wade scored 32 points and 10 rebounds while LeBron James finished with 24 points and 15 boards.

UPDATE GAME 4: Philadelphia 76ers avoided a sweep with a win over the Heat 86-82 on Sunday. Lou Williams sank a 3 with 8.1 secs left to lift the 76ers. Game 5 is Wednesday in Miami.

UPDATE GAME 5: Miami wins series 4-1 by eliminating Philadelphia in Game 5 97-91. Heat advances to the Eastern Conference Semifinals and will take on the Boston Celtics in the second round. D-Wade scored 26 points, Chris Bosh added 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat.
