Canadian fans will fill the stands, bars and living rooms with dreams of watching a sequel to their big 2010 win in Vancouver. Canada has a shot to become the first team since 1988 to win back-to-back gold medals because of stingy defense, a stellar goalie, stars who were willing to sacrifice their egos and a healthy dose of luck.
The Canadians are on the brink of their third gold medal in four Olympics, and they’re guaranteed their first medals outside North America in 20 years.
