Lebron James decides, It’s Miami Heat

LeBron James has made his decision Thursday night and told the world that he’s leaving Cleveland, joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to create a new Big 3 in Miami.

James announced in a hastily arranged ESPN special Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. ET in Greenwich, Conn., that he was committing to the Heat, forming a superstar trio that matches any other in the NBA.

“We’re going to be a real good team,” James said.

The Akron-born James left the Cleveland Cavaliers after spending the first seven years of his career with his hometown club after being the No. 1 pick in the 2003 draft.
