Portugal Squad for World Cup 2014

World Cup 2014 Brasil Brazil logo* Squad lists are only official once they have been confirmed and published by FIFA on 16 May at 12:00 CET.

Portugal head coach Paulo Bento named a provisional 30-man FIFA World Cup™ squad with Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Moutinho headlining the list.

Notably, 11 players come from the Portuguese Liga featuring predominantly from Benfica, Sporting Lisbon and Braga. Seven players ply their trade in the Spanish La Liga, while the others play in Turkey, England, Russia, Italy, Germany, France and Ukraine.

Algeria Squad for World Cup 2014

World Cup 2014 Brasil Brazil logo* Squad lists are only official once they have been confirmed and published by FIFA on 16 May at 12:00 CET.

Bastia midfielder Ryad Boudebouz, who has not featured for Algeria since the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, was named in coach Vahid Halilhodzic’s 30-strong provisional squad for the FIFA World Cup™.

Leicester frontman Ryad Mahrez is called up for the first time, but Livorno striker Ishak Belfodil failed to make the cut, although he remains on stand-by should Porto’s Nabil Ghilas not shake off injury.

Ghana Squad for World Cup 2014

World Cup 2014 Brasil Brazil logo* Squad lists are only official once they have been confirmed and published by FIFA on 16 May at 12:00 CET.

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah called up German-Ghanaian striker Kevin-Prince Boateng and brothers Jordan and Andre Ayew to his 26-player provisional FIFA World Cup™ squad.

The trio, who all sat out last year’s Africa Cup of Nations, are new additions to the squad with both Boateng and Andre Ayew having starred for the Ghanaians in their run to the 2010 World Cup quarter-finals where they lost on penalties to Uruguay.
