NBA 2011 Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals – Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls
NBA’s best record and Eastern conference’s No. 1 seed Chicago Bulls will face No. 2 seed Miami Heat for the 2011 NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals.
Chicago Bulls reached the Eastern Conference Finals by beating Indiana Pacers 4-1 in the 1st round and then earning a 4-2 series win against Atlanta Hawks in the 2nd round. Miami Heat, on the other hand, earned the other Eastern Conference Finals slot by a 1st round 4-1 series win against Philadelphia 76ers and then another 4-1 series win in the 2nd round against Boston Celtics.
In the regular season series, Chicago Bulls has the edge over Miami Heat at 3-0.

UPDATE GAME 1: Chicago Bulls struck first in the Eastern Conference finals, pulling away to beat the Miami Heat 103-82 in Game 1 on Sunday night. Derrick Rose scored 28 points while Luol Deng, with 21 points, contained LeBron James. Chris Bosh led Miami with 30 points and 9 rebounds.
UPDATE GAME 2: Miami Heat evened the series at 1-1 as they beat Chicago 85-75 in Game 2. LeBron James and the Heat pull away down the stretch for the win. James scored 29 points, while Dwyane Wade with 24 and Udonis Haslem added 13. D-Rose led with 21 points for the Bulls

James scored 28 points, Wade added 21 and the Miami Heat eliminated Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls 83-80 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday.
James and Wade were simply spectacular down the stretch, each scoring eight during a game-ending 18-3 run as Miami wiped out a 12-point deficit to clinch this series.
Now, the Heat are headed back to the NBA finals for the first time since 2006, and in a fitting twist, they’ll be facing the Mavericks. Back then, with Wade leading the way, Miami beat Dallas to capture the championship. This time, it’ll be James and Dirk Nowitzki going for their first rings. (Source)
