On June 12, the world’s eyes turn to Brazil for the start of the 20th FIFA World Cup, but the planet’s biggest football tournament will have plenty of news and views in the months leading up to it.
The time for counting in years, months or even weeks has passed, with the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ now set to arrive in a matter of days, 100 to be exact, from today, 4 March, to the Opening Match on Thursday 12 June. The latter is probably among the most eagerly anticipated dates in the history of Brazil and will most definitely be marked in red on the calendars of football lovers across the globe.
