San Francisco Giants took Game 1 of the best-of-seven 2010 World Series against the Rangers at the AT&T Park with an 11-7 score. Giants dominated and whacked the Rangers star Pitcher Cliff Lee in Game 1 Wednesday night. Lee came into the game with a 7-0 record and a 1.26 ERA in postseason play. Texas gave him an early 2-0 lead, but the Giants swung things in their favor in a hurry.

GAME RECAP
Matt Cain pitched shutout ball into the eighth inning, Edgar Renteria hit a go-ahead home run and the San Francisco Giants broke away from the Texas Rangers 9-0 on Thursday night for a 2-0 lead in the World Series.
A day after the Giants romped 11-7, Cain ruled the mound. He kept his 0.00 ERA through three postseason starts.
The Giants scored seven runs in the eighth, their biggest postseason inning ever. Texas relievers walked four straight batters with two outs.
Renteria homered off C.J. Wilson in the fifth inning for a 1-0 lead. He added a two-run single in the wild eighth. By the end, the crowd chanted “Sweep! Sweep!”
