When: Thursday, December 10, 2009 8:20 PM ET
Venue: Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland, OH
Pittsburgh Steelers (6-6) vs Cleveland Browns (1-11) Preview
A victory against Cleveland would be a necessary first step for the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh to keep its playoff hopes alive or the Browns can ruin rival Steelers’ season with victory.
With their chances of defending that title fading with each defeat, the Steelers hit the road Thursday night looking to halt their midseason swoon with a 13th consecutive victory over the feeble Cleveland Browns. Pittsburgh (6-6) started the season 1-2, but then ran off five consecutive wins to put itself in position to challenge emerging Cincinnati in the AFC North. Three subsequent losses by three points apiece have now left Pittsburgh’s wild-card hopes in doubt.
That record currently has the Steelers on the outside of the playoff picture looking in, but ground can certainly be made up in the muddled AFC wild-card picture the final four weeks. Denver (8-4) and Jacksonville (7-5) are the two current leaders, with Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Miami and the New York Jets all 6-6.
The Steelers own a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Broncos and face the Ravens and Dolphins to close the season.
Steelers and Browns last met just this season in Week 6 wherein Ben Roethlisberger passed for 417 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Steelers past the Browns, 27-14. Last week in NFL Week 13, Pittsburgh was stunned at home by Oakland, giving up a late TD in a 27-24 loss while Cleveland fought until the end, but ultimately wound up losing to San Diego, 30-23.
So, let’s all wait and watch Steelers vs Browns live stream online, Thursday night.

Game Recap
There’s nothing Super about the Pittsburgh Steelers anymore. The defending NFL champions lost their fifth straight and had their playoff hopes sacked by the lowly Cleveland Browns, who ended a 12-game losing streak against their bitter rival by beating the Steelers 13-6 on Thursday night in subzero wind chills.
Ben Roethlisberger was sacked eight times and lost for the first time in 11 career games against the Browns (2-11), who extended Pittsburgh’s longest losing streak in six years and defeated the Steelers (6-7) at home for the first time since 2000.
The Steelers are going to need help to make the postseason, a stunning freefall for a team that hit the season’s halfway point at 6-2. (Source: Yahoo! Sports)
