Week 11 – NY Jets vs Denver Broncos
When: Thursday, 8:20 PM ET, November 17, 2011
Venue: Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver, CO
Jets (5-4) – Broncos (4-5) Preview
The New York Jets know what to expect from Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos — an option-style offense that relies almost exclusively on running the ball.
The trick is to stop this unconventional strategy and get a win, something only one opponent has managed to accomplish since Tebow took over at quarterback last month.
New York (5-4) squandered an opportunity to take control of the East on Sunday night against New England, losing 37-16 to snap a three-game winning streak.
In Sunday’s 17-10 win over Kansas City, Denver rushed 55 times — its most since 1978 — and finished with 244 yards on the ground. The Broncos ran eight straight times on their opening possession and Tebow attempted only eight passes for the game, completing two. One of his completions, however, was a 56-yard touchdown pass to a wide open Eric Decker in the fourth quarter that put Denver up 17-7.
In the last meeting between these teams Oct. 17, 2010, Tomlinson ran for his second touchdown of the game with 1:13 remaining to give the Jets a 24-20 victory. While Sanchez threw for 198 yards and a TD with two interceptions, Tebow was used strictly as a runner with six carries for 23 yards. (Source preview: more on espn.com)

GAME RECAP
Tim Tebow’s 20-yard touchdown run with 58 seconds left capped a 95-yard drive and sent the Denver Broncos to a 17-13 victory over the stunned New York Jets on Thursday night.
Tebow saw the blitz and outflanked safety Eric Smith around the left edge, then cut back and bulled his way past other Jets into the end zone.
The Broncos (5-5) are 4-1 since Tebow replaced Kyle Orton.
The Jets (5-5) lost their second heart-breaker in four days. Mark Sanchez’s desperation pass toward the end zone was batted down as time expired.
New York safety Jim Leonhard could have throttled Denver’s winning drive on the first play when he wrapped up Eddie Royal in the end zone on a throw to the right flat, but Royal wiggled free. (Source: espn.com)
