One of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan’s biggest highlights as a rookie was a stunning, last-second home victory over the Chicago Bears. Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has his own experience rallying to win in the Georgia Dome.

QB Cutler will try to lead the Bears to their 4th straight victory Sunday night when they visit Ryan and the Falcons, who are coming off a breakout offensive performance.

On Sunday, though, Chicago (3-1) will start the only visiting quarterback to win at the Georgia Dome in nearly two years. Cutler, acquired in the offseason from Denver, led the Broncos to a 24-20 victory last Nov. 16 with a fourth-quarter touchdown drive.

The Falcons (3-1) have won five straight at home since that defeat, including consecutive victories to open this season, and are 10-1 in the Georgia Dome since Dec. 30, 2007.

The Bears haven’t won four in a row since December 2006, en route to their last NFC title, but they should benefit from the rest of a bye week, something the Falcons know all about.

The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Chicago Bears 21-14 on Sunday Night Football Game Week 6. The Chicago Bears could have won it in Atlanta last year. They could have won it Sunday night. Instead, they went 0-for-2.

Chicago made three huge mistakes in the red zone, and the Falcons held on for a victory that will be remembered for one gritty defensive stand after another and all the chances the Bears let slip away. The Falcons now at 4-1 while the Bears are at 3-2.
