Week 16 – Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns
When: Sunday, 1:00 PM ET, December 26, 2010
Venue: Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland, OH
Ravens (10-4) vs Browns (5-9) Preview
The Baltimore Ravens will need some help to capture their first division title in four years but they’re all but assured of a third playoff berth in as many seasons under coach John Harbaugh.
The easiest way for the Ravens to secure that spot in the postseason is by beating the struggling Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Baltimore (10-4) is tied with Pittsburgh for the AFC North lead, but the Steelers hold the tiebreaker with a better record in divisional games.
The Ravens would seem to have a good chance to finish with 12 wins for the first time since 2006 with remaining games against Cleveland (5-9) and Cincinnati (3-11). Pittsburgh, though, will play its final two against teams with a combined seven wins, including the Browns on Jan. 2 Week 17 game.
Baltimore, though, can at least secure a spot in the playoffs this weekend by topping Cleveland. Should the Ravens lose, they would need one of four complex scenarios to occur to clinch that berth, which include losses from Kansas City, Jacksonville, San Diego and Indianapolis.
Baltimore is seeking a third straight road win over the Browns, its longest streak since relocating from Cleveland before the 1996 season. (Source preview: ESPN)

GAME RECAP
Joe Flacco threw two touchdown passes, Baltimore’s defense bottled up Peyton Hillis, and the Ravens clinched their third consecutive playoff appearance by beating the Browns 20-10 on Sunday.
Ed Reed intercepted two Colt McCoy passes as the Ravens (11-4) stayed in contention for the AFC North title. They remain tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the division lead with one game left.
Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis promised Hillis wouldn’t repeat his 144-yard performance against Baltimore in Week 3, and the big back didn’t, rushing for just 35 yards on 12 carries.
McCoy threw three interceptions, and the Browns (5-10) did nothing to help embattled coach Eric Mangini, who fell to 10-21 in two seasons and will await a postseason review by first-year team president Mike Holmgren. (Source: NFL)
