Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints Preview

This Monday Night Football game, The Saints and the Falcons meet in pivotal NFC South clash this Monday. In their last meeting which was last year Dec. 7 Week 14, the Saints beat the Falcons 29-25 wherein Drew Brees passed for 230 yards and two touchdowns to seal the win.

In their last week’s game on Week 7, New Orleans, despite having three interceptions, a lost fumble and five sacks,  overcame a 21-point deficit in the first half and defeated Miami, 46-34. On the other hand, Atlanta suffered a 37-21 loss against Dallas.

For the New Orleans Saints, a seventh straight victory could give them a crystal-clear path to a division title. A Monday night win by the Saints over the visiting Falcons would match their best start in franchise history and keep them alone atop the NFC South Division. The Falcons’ defense will need to improve quickly if it hopes to slow Drew Brees’ high-powered attack this Monday night.
