Use EntreCard for Free Advertising

EntreCard is an Internet business card in which you can get an Ad space for free. Good for us if, by luck, we can squeeze and get ad space on big name bloggers like Darren of Problogger.net, Jeremy of Shoemoney.com and John Cow of Johncow.com, just to name a few.

I was encouraged to sign up for an EntreCard because of this catchy title post Advertise on Big Name Blogs for Free by McBilly.

As what John Cow said:

To get your card to show up on someone’s blog, you have to use some of your Entrecard credits to advertise in their widget. You set up a campaign, choose your niche, find a blog and then request an ad spot. If it’s approved, it runs for 24 hours.

    Just a caution and warning:

    I’ve just noticed that some registered blogs at EntreCard have empty blogs or doesn’t have posts or they have a new blog. I have been victimized and it’s my fault too because I did not check their blog. So there, I have just wasted some big credits that should have been used to advertise on large and popular blogs. :( tsk tsk tsk.

    I think this is a great idea and I’ve heard a lot of good things. I’m going to try and put together a virtual business card and start implementing it on my blog soon.

    I’ve been using it for a week and it’s really bringing me lots of traffic.

    Oh, just an update… Problogger is joining Entrecard. Hopefully, he’ll accept my advertisement. Maybe, you might be interested to drop yours there while it’s not yet full. I’ve also dropped on yours too. :)

    Entrecard still has yet to send me any large amount of traffic. Either bloggers need to start clicking on cards more often or Entrecard needs to do something to improve it’s CTR.
