Unboxing Our New Western Digital (WD) Elements 320GB USB2.0 Portable External Hard-Drive

We’ve just added a new Western Digital (WD) Elements 320GB USB2.0 Portable External Hard-Drive to our collection of tech gadgets for our blogging and photography hobby. I bought it for my wife. Early Christmas gift in November indeed. We have been using this for a week now and I must say that this is a perfect backup storage for our pictures taken by our ever reliable Nikon D60 DSLR.

Here is my personal review: This portable external hard drive has a plain and simple look outside. It is easy to use, no software needed, as you can just plug it in and you are ready to receive data. It is also compact, light and easy to carry, as you can easily fit it into you pocket or purse.  You don’t have to worry about powering the external HDD because they are powered directly through the USB cable that will be connected to the PC desktop, laptop, notebook or netbook.  Also, they are reliable as per Western Digital assurance quoted “All WD drives, even our most basic products, are designed to protect your data and put through a comprehensive battery of tests before they are ready for market.” I recommend this HDD.
