UFC 118: Edgar vs Penn 2 (rematch) fight event is scheduled this August 28, 2010 Saturday at 10pm ET/ 7PM PT/ 3AM GMT live on Pay-Per-View (PPV) from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. This event will be the first to be held in Massachusetts.

UFC fight fans will again be treated to a world championship rematch showdown between Lightweight title holder Frankie Edgar and former lightweight champion BJ Penn.  In their first meeting at UFC 112: Invincible, Frank Edgar defeated BJ Penn via unanimous decision (50-45,48-47,49-46) to become new UFC lightweight champion.

Penn looks to reclaim his title from Frankie Edgar, who upset “the Prodigy” last April 2010 to win the belt.  The loss was just the second of Penn’s decade-long career and his first in more than eight years at 155 pounds. Also, Dana White announced that the winner of the the Florian vs Maynard fight would be guaranteed the next shot at the lightweight title of whoever wins between Edgar and Penn rematch.
