UPDATE: I have transferred again to a new wordpress web host, WP Webhost, last April 2009 because THC is almost every week having problems with their server even though my traffic is not that high. So far, for the 3 months I have experienced and stayed in WP Webhost, their system, access and support is superb and good. No big problems so far. I can recommend this web hosting.
I have successfully transferred and migrated my wordpress blog to my new web host, Top Hosting Center (THC). Sorry guys for the 2 hour down time. For a week of testing and exploring their control panel and talking with their support, I have decided to switch to Top Hosting Center. Yes, they are a cheap web host but they have a very friendly, helpful and great support department.

This web host seems like a company that you could use and from the review that you have given to us something to think about and possible use for our own webhosting needs in the future. I need to move an existing web site from current host to new host. I know how to change the DNS from host A to host B. My question is: Do I change DNS first then create the VHost on host B and upload web content or create VHost first on host B, upload content then change DNS? Also, what happens to e-mail once DNS is changed – does it automatically transfer to host B pop?
You should do the latter first. Create the VHost on host B and upload web content or create VHost first on host B, upload content then change DNS to point to Host B. Yes it will automatically redirected to your new host. As long as you have configured the mail service or server, you can receive emails when the DNS is done propagating.
