Pacquiao Wins Via 8th round TKO over De La Hoya

Posted under Sports on December 7th 2008 with 5 Comments

Pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao wins The Dream Match against De La Hoya in 8th Rounds via TKO. I was very lucky to see a live video streaming online. The fight was stopped after the 8th round as Golden Boy Oscar De la Hoya can’t continue and with the help of his corner, they rather stop the fight. De la Hoya’s left eye was swelling shut. It was all Pacquiao in the 8th round. Oscar can not throw anymore punches and simply Pacquiao is dominating the Golden Boy.

Congratulations Manny Pacquiao. We believe in you. You make us Filipinos very proud. Viva Pinoy. Mabuhay ka Manny. Is Ricky Hatton next?

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, for the third straight month, is the clear choice as the world’s finest pound-for-pound boxer in the monthly Yahoo! Sports poll. His last fight was a TKO win in round 9 over David Diaz last June 28, 2008. Pacquiao retained his top spot by garnering 18 of the 23 first-place votes cast from the blue-ribbon panel of boxing writers and broadcasters from around the world.
