The fight was stopped after the 8th round as Golden Boy Oscar De la Hoya can’t continue and with the help of his corner, they rather stop the fight. De la Hoya’s left eye was swelling shut. It was all Pacquiao in the 8th round. Oscar can not throw anymore punches and simply Pacquiao is dominating the Golden Boy.

The much anticipated boxing bout between Pacman and The Golden Boy is now set and is in the final stages and preparation and no one can stop them except for injury and health related problems. Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De la Hoya scheduled fight will be held at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on December 6, 2008 (December 7, 2008 AM Philippine time). As of press time, nothing yet was made public on how much each of them will receive or pocket for this Dream Match fight.
