kapag magdedeposit po sa EON card ano ung ginagamit? ung 12 digit or ung 16 digit?

charles Said,
October 23rd, 2007 @2:42 pm

The 12 digit # is your bank account number while the 16 digit # is your EON card number.

Yeah great news indeed. Thank you for visiting.

Hey Charles got here by following your comment on my blog. Buti ka pa nakapag withdraw na. I was having a hard time getting mine to work and it took me a while before I ia pointed out to me that I needed to have at least $1.8 in the account because Paypal will charge you once and return the money later as part of its verification process.

charles Said,
October 25th, 2007 @7:13 pm

@Dennison
Thank you for visiting. Good thing you’re on the right track in verifying your card with paypal. After that, you can now withdraw thru your eon.

October 26th, 2007 @12:06 pm

Nice. Btw, would you know if BDO (formerly Equitable) also offers a Visa Debit Card?

October 26th, 2007 @4:16 pm

Congratulations! :D

I’m waiting for my first deposit to be reflected on EON. 5 days isn’t bad at all.

charles Said,

thank you for dropping by. 5 days is not that long to wait. :)

Prudence Said,

I’ve only started earning recently so I’ll just wait for my earnings to reach $100 or so before I make my first withdrawal. Thanks for this post and thanks for dropping by my blog :-)

November 2nd, 2007 @7:28 pm

Congrats!

That should put the negative bashing from ebay.ph to shut. ebay.ph’ers can’t get UnionBank’s EON to work. So they say that everyone who says it works are liars.

Great work guys! I am so happy to know that my fellow Pinoys are also earning money online. Almost a year n rin ako in this arena. I just hope you could earn more than what I am earning now.

Just be patient and due diligence is needed for you to succeed.

Again, thanks and goodluck to everyone.

Hi Charles…finally I was able to get here…tnx for regularly visiting my blog…I hope you pick up something new and useful everytime.

About EON, I do have my EON since Oct. 25. I signed up online and picked up the card in Alabang. Paid 350 and deposited some.

I tried to have my PayPal verified, for which I’m now waiting for some number that has to come with the statement….PayPal said it usually takes 3 to 5 days but it has been more than a week now I think and I still don’t have any reflection on my account. What was your experience on this matter?

Another note, PayPal charged you $5, right? Is that fixed for any amount withdrawn? How about the issue that PayPal charges you for RECEIVING while sending is free?

If it takes $5 to send money to my bank that takes 5 days before you can actually get the money, then maybe I’d rather go for Xoom which charges me $5.50 and usually the money is available the next day or, from my experience, 2 days max. It can be sent to your bank, delivered to your doorstep or picked up from a bank. By the way, my Italian PayPal is what I use and it’s unverified.

Hi!

I got my EON Card last week and have enrolled it online. Then when I try to apply it on my Paypal Account, my card was denied. Through this blog, I learned that I need to deposit at least 90 pesos. So I just deposited 500 on my EON Account. Then I tried adding the card again on Paypal to get my Paypal Account verified and I am still receiving the same error.

I checked my EON CyberAccount online and it has the 500 pesos that I deposited. Please advise.

Thanks!

charles Said,

Hi Minette. Does your EON online banking is activated? I’ve heard that you have to activate your online banking feature.

Try calling to their customer support call center. Hope your EON will be verified soon.

Please do drop by here if it will be success. Good luck.

Minette Said,
November 13th, 2007 @6:48 am

Hi Charles!

Yes, my EON Cyberaccount is activated. I can access my account on UnionBank’s page and I was able to check my recent deposit of 500 pesos. I emailed their customer service via the online account and havent received any reply so far. I still have hopes that this will work coz you have yours working guys and I do thank you for taking the time to give advice.

Great blog by the way!

Have a nice day =)

Hi Charles

Sorry but I just got too excited, I should have said my card was accepted not verified. I still need my 4-digit expanded use number. I just called the local customer service here in Pampanga and they have no idea about what I am talking about, they referred me to the Manila Customer Service that handles EON Account. I just emailed the EON customer service through my online account on EON.

Will keep you posted and I have also been posting my experiences about EON and Paypal on my other blog writtensentiments.blogspot.com

As usual, thanks for your prompt reply

Minette Said,
November 16th, 2007 @9:47 am

Hi Charles!

Finally I got my card verified and was able to withdraw my funds. Am just waiting for Paypal to process my request which would take about 5-7 days.

Thanks to your blog and all the blog hoppers out there!

I also have posted my Paypal-EON experience at: http://writtensentiments.blogspot.com

Have a nice day!

Yung 12 digit # ba ay yung makita mo sa receipt when you pay the P350 annual fee? I’m confused what is my account #… I just recently applied and get my EON Card, but I don’t know what is my Account NUMBER :(

charles Said,
November 18th, 2007 @11:15 am

Your EON account number is the 12 digit # which you can find at your EON card just below your name. The 16 digit # above your name is your card number.

November 18th, 2007 @10:09 pm

Hi sir,

ask ko lang po paano mo ba na i.convert yong dollar from paypal
to Peso in your Eon Card.

Thanks po

charles Said,
November 19th, 2007 @4:45 pm

You don’t have to worry about that. The bank will automatically convert your dollar to peso basing from their current foreign exchange rate. :) You just have to check your EON online banking for the detailed transactions. :)

NetWaver Said,
November 19th, 2007 @4:57 pm

My EON Card is still waiting for activation. Can I or somebody will be able to deposit in my account or I will wait first before my card activated?

charles Said,
November 19th, 2007 @11:13 pm

What do you mean by still waiting for activation, which activation part? As far as I know, When you receive your EON, the bank will let you check and set your PIN in the ATM to be activated, I think it will take just 2 days. Then enroll it to online banking, 2 days again. that’s just my experience. :)

Kitts Said,
November 21st, 2007 @11:47 pm

Hi NetWaver,

I was able to fund my card immediately after claiming it from the greenbelt branch. Sinabay ko na sa pagbayad ng annual fee. I gave the New Accounts Clerk P500 (P350 for the annual fee and P150 initial deposit) so in my case napondohan ko na sya kahit hindi pa sya activated :D

jemdc Said,
November 27th, 2007 @2:00 pm

I got my card last thrusday, and the ATM account is now working, however when I called up cust service, they said it will take another 5 days for the debit card number to be accepted by PayPal, because they have to forward the CIF to their Cebu office. I’m not sure why it has to be the cebu office though… hmmm

Alexander Said,

Hi Charles Kailagan bang magdeposit muna sa EON card ko bago ko siya magamit sa PayPal? kasi may error na lumalabas pagnireregister ko yung EON VISA electron card ko sa PayPal

Alexander Said,
December 3rd, 2007 @11:38 am

I did try to activate my EON online banking but when I try log-in it said I have a wrong CARD NUMBER or USER ID. Cna you please help me with this?

charles Said,
December 3rd, 2007 @12:16 pm

Alexander,

Is your EON account is already activated, meaning you can inquire balance thru ATM machine? Did you try calling their customer call center support? Better yet, call them, it’s free using their toll free number.
Please check again your 16 digit card number found in your card. It should be 16 digit number.
Hope your EON will be activated online soon.

charles Said,
December 3rd, 2007 @12:19 pm

Maybe their main branch is at Cebu, just my assumption. :)

charles Said,
December 3rd, 2007 @12:26 pm

Alex,

Dapat may laman ang EON account mo kahit na P100 lang kase magdededuct ang PayPal sa’yo ng $1.95 just to make sure na makatransact ang PayPal sa EON account mo. Don’t worry ibabalik din yung $1.95 sa paypal account mo after ma-activate ang EON mo PayPal, but before your card can be activated you have to wait for about 3-5 days para makuha mo ang EXPUSE number mo para magamit pag-activate sa card mo sa paypal.

Yes my EON card is activated and I deposited 100 PHP. I see it when I had a balance inquiry. But still I can’t add the EON card to my PayPal account because there’s still an error — This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer’s customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card. Help please…

Alexander Said,
December 5th, 2007 @9:56 pm

I just added my EON card to my PayPal account right now but where can i get my expanded use 4-digit number? Can I get when I log-in to my EON cyber account?

charles Said,
December 6th, 2007 @12:37 am

Alexander,
You can email their support using the Email link menu located in your EON online account or better yet call their customer call center for your EXPUSE number. :)

vhonne Said,

i applied EON card online last December 29,2007. How long will it takes to get my card? I assumed that it will delay because of a week holiday.

i dont have a card yet but i learned a lot from you guys… thanks anyway…

charles Said,
January 1st, 2008 @8:37 pm

@vhonne
Usually, it will take you 3-5 days of waiting to get your eon card at the Unionbank branch you specified for pickup. Then the bank will make you deposit P350 for the card to be activated and it will take you again 2 days to wait.

Note: The P350 you first deposited will not appear in your eon account balance as it is (as per UnionBank Davao Victoria Branch) the processing fee daw.

To check if your eon card is activated, you have to make a balance inquiry and if successful then your card is already activated.

If you still have no PayPal account yet, Get PayPal account now!

Better if you have P100 in your EON account balance If you want to attach or add a debit card or credit card to your PayPal account because PayPal will charge you $1.95 just to make sure that your eon is accepted and activated for online banking. An EXPUSE # will be used to verify your debit card you have added or attached to your PayPal account and it will again take you 3-4 days to know it by emailing unionbank eon services.

I guess this is it. Don’t forget to ask questions here.

can i use that EON card for encashing cheques? for example, i recieved a cheques from google adsense, is it possible to encash that cheques there? i dont have bank account eh, and there’s no WU option in my Google AdSense Account…

elaine Said,
January 3rd, 2008 @9:28 am

HI,

It shows in my PayPal account that the transaction had been completed but it’s not reflecting on my Unionbank account?

Would it take more days before it goes to my Unionbank account?

Elaine

charles Said,
January 3rd, 2008 @5:34 pm

You must have a Dollar account in a bank when encashing Google Adsense cheques. Banco De Oro bank is a good bank I can recommend. So better open an account now at BDO.

How come you don’t have a Western Union option in payment in your Adsense account? It should have.

charles Said,
January 3rd, 2008 @5:40 pm

As for my experience, I have withdrawn twice already, usually your money withdrawn from PayPal to your EON card will reflect in 3-4 days.
But there are some saying that it will take a month. If you’re worried it will take that long, just call their customer service support toll free. ;)

vhonne Said,
January 4th, 2008 @10:15 am

yes, my google adsense account doesn’t have WU option. I asked the google support but no one answers. I already searched some forum/discussions about that, and they said that those who signed up in business account doesn’t have that option. But in my case, I registered my account as an individual.

charles Said,

Your EON card should be first activated before applying or adding it to your PayPal account.

charles Said,
January 16th, 2008 @11:23 pm

To open an EON account online, it’s free. You only have to pay P350 when you have to get your eon card on the unionbank branch you specified for pickup.

Impe Said,
January 17th, 2008 @9:56 am

Hi Charles,

Because I don’t have an account in UnionBank, do you need an initial deposit amounting to P10,000 before transaction between Paypal and UnionBank takes place?

cheers,

Hi Charles,

Because I don’t have an account in UnionBank, is it true that you need an initial deposit amounting to P10,000 before transaction between Paypal and UnionBank takes place?

OR

After paying the annual fee of P350 to get my EON Card, do I simple deposit a small amount in order for Paypal to withdraw $1.65?

cheers,
