Mahalo for the link. It’s always flattering to find that someone else has found value in my thoughts!

Angry? Yeah, I’m angry. If Big G wants to change how they compute PR that’s their business. Is they want to penalize paid links, so be it. My anger is at their arbitrary application of the penalties, targeting not all sponsored links but only the ones they don’t like. A paid link is a paid link is a paid link.

Worried? No. Our advertisers are not stupid people. Their links will still appear on other search engines, the search engines that more and more people are now using thanks to Big G’s duplicity. G has thrown the baby out with the bath water. Wonder how long it will take them to realize that?

Well, that is how google works.
Hope it is for the better to all
not only for the few.

my Page rank dropped to zero too. Google can toy anytime with website ranks. it’s beyond our control. while its okay to worry about it for some time, but then, its over and done, irreversible. just keep blogging and hope in the next PR we’ll get our rightly deserved Page Rank.

Hey Charles. Sorry to hear that. But there is really nothing we can do except stay under the Google Radar.

There has really been some FUD going on from Google and theres no stopping them. I guess, it will be interesting to see how the RealRank of Izea develops.

This Google catastrophe cost me at least $1,500 in lost revenue and I’m fairly pissed. Hopefully, more pay per blogging sites will adopt something like RealRank from PayPerPost and not rely so heavily on Google and their broken PR system.

Google has primarily targeted PayPerPost member blogs and reduced their Page ranks across the board.

this is sad!

Hey Robert, thanks for dropping by. I’ve always noticed you at JC’s ads. :)
Wow that’s some earned money down the drain. Yeah, I hope too that RealRank will be successful for us who are into paid blogging.

I’m just wondering how Google knew that some bloggers are P-P-P members? Is it because of the Badge, the badge link or the Code that’s inserted in the blog body?

Could it be our disclosure statement which is required by Izea? ;-)

I sure hope Google goes back to being a search engine once again. This is getting crazier every time.

Maybe IZEA is being targeted not only because of reviewing gives follow links to the reviewed site but also because of RealRank. Anyway, just a thought. :)
