What is Valentine’s Day? Valentine’s day is a holiday celebrated every 14th of February. It is the traditional day on which lovers, family and friends express their love for each other by sending gifts such as Valentine’s cards, flowers, offering confectionery and others.

I just wanted to share my successful withdrawal of funds from my PayPal account to my Philippine bank account at UnionBank. I transferred my funds last January 30, 2008 around 3:00Pm in the afternoon and the funds appeared on my UnionBank account yesterday, February 1, 2008. It only took 2 days to appear on my Philippine bank account.

Note: I have been withdrawing funds many times now from my PayPal to my debit card with a $5 charge. But with this PayPal to Philippine Bank withdrawal transaction, no charge is deducted and it is fast. This is great news indeed. We’ve already heard about the news about Paypal Philippines now available with full Send and Receive feature. Add to that also, our UnionBank EON CyberAccount, and other UnionBank Visa Cards, can now be used to fund our PayPal account and also it can be used to withdraw money from our PayPal account to our EON card!

Again, great news is here. PayPal To Philippine Bank Accounts Withdrawal Now Available! I know it is late for me to post it here but heck this is news. I have checked and logged in to my PayPal account and it is true, in the My Account > Withdraw page, you can now see an option to directly transfer funds from your PayPal account to your bank account in the Philippines. By the way, thanks to PinoyMoneyTalk and Marhgil for the heads up.

My take on this great news

There is no charge if the transaction amount to be transferred or to be withdrawn is P7,000 or more. And a P50.00 fee if the amount to be withdrawn is P6,999.99 or less. Also, be careful when entering incorrect details about your bank account because a P250.00 return fee is charged, so make sure you input the correct information and bank codes.

Wow! It has been awhile since I have last posted and that was last New Year. We have been busy preparing for my son Charles Terrence’s 1st birthday which we will celebrate in advance today. But his birthday is really on the 15th of January and since it is a working day, we decided to celebrate this weekend instead where we were hoping a lot of kids especially can attend since there is no class today. Good bye 2007, Hello 2008! Year of the Rat.

I like to wish all of my readers and friends in the blogosphere a Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great time celebrating the holidays. It is 2008 and it is another year of many new opportunities and new beginning. Also, always have fun in blogging and be patient. May we have a great 2008!

I have been blogging for 4 months now and I can say to my self that day by day is a new experience of improving my blog and achieve my goals and commitments.
