Update: Feedburner RSS stats going back to normal now and still updating some blog sites.

Have you noticed your Feedburner RSS stats recently? Go check it out. While surfing and reading some post to some of my A-list bloggers (John Chow, Shoemoney, John Cow), I have noticed that their feedburner RSS stats are going down and are slashed by hundreds and even thousands. What’s going on? Is Google doing something to FeedBurner? Are they cleaning up some idle RSS subscribers or what? Or is this just a glitch in their system?

Contest is over. It’s all over. Shoemoney wins. Great competition guys.

It is really inspiring and amazing to talk about other people’s success, especially when we are talking about Shoemoney and JohnChow’s success in their respective blogs. As we all know, they are in a RSS competition. As the month of October is ending, it looked like John Chow is heading towards the finish line first ahead of Shoemoney. Then last night out of nowhere, Shoemoney dashes ahead of John Chow and Shoe wins. I know Shoemoney will win because he has more sites that JC (Please correct me if I’m wrong). But how come or where did Shoemoney get those numbers in a day? I know there are no specific rules in this competition but Shoe, how did you do it? 4,000+ RSS subscribers in a day? Wow that’s huge. Congratulations to both of you.

Just after reading some blogs about pagerank dropping down 1 to 4 notches, I am quite relieved and excited to have read a post from McBilly and KingKongBlog, just after I got home from the 1st Mindanao Bloggers Summit, that google also gives away pagerank and is updating.

So I check at Prchecker.info and DigPageRank.com just to be sure if the pagerank of my blog Nierva dot Com had added up. True enough and a valid one, I have now a PR3 coming from PR0.

Google indeed is also updating and adding up page ranks. My wife’s 2 blogs also jumped from PR0 to PR4. I’m glad that Google is updating. But still I have no idea what’s the reason behind the dropping of pageranks of some top blogger sites.

Pagerank to me is not that important, what’s important is the SERP’s, traffic and quality content. All I want to have are readers that comes back and read my post. So much about Google PageRank buzz.

UPDATE (SEPTEMBER 2008): September 2008 LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers) Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 18,376 elementary teachers out of 66,709 examinees and 16,811 secondary teachers out of 57,723 examinees successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on August 26, 2007 in 19 testing centers all over the Philippines.

Malacañang on Thursday announced that President Arroyo has decided to hand down an executive clemency to former president Joseph Estrada.

Mrs. Arroyo’s decision came after former president Fidel Ramos advised her not to be “hasty” with the request for full pardon.

In view hereof and pursuant to the authority conferred upon me by the Constitution, I hereby grant executive clemency to Joseph Ejercito Estrada convicted by the Sandiganbayan of plunder and imposed a penalty of reclusion perpetua,” Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye said as he read the President’s signed order.
