Update: I’ve just got my EON CyberAccount Visa Electron debit card and PayPal Premier account verified. Yahooooo.

Just called UnionBank Philippines Customer Service Call Center at Domestic Toll Free number 1-800-1888-2277 and ask for my 4-digit PayPal Expanded Use Number code, which is due this day since I’ve added my EON CyberAccount Visa Electron debit card last Sunday September 30, 2007. Received the 4-digit PayPal Expanded Use Number code, log-in to PayPal and verified my card.

Regarding the withdrawal process, will have to collect some money and will try to transfer/withdraw to my EON CyberAccount Visa Electron debit card. Stay tuned for more updates.

Start Using Your PayPal Now

To enroll your UnionBank Visa Card in PayPal, first CLICK HERE to sign up for a PayPal account. Be sure to select Philippines as the country where you live and use U.S. Dollars as the primary currency. Your online transactions will automatically be converted to Philippine Pesos when billed.

When asked to enter your credit card or debit card number, enter the full 16-character card number and then the CVV. Make sure you enter your address of record at UnionBank as your billing address. For UnionBank Visa Credit Cards, use the address that appears on your monthly statement; and for EON Visa Electron and eWallet, use the address found on your Profile Page at the unionbankph.com online banking site.

After doing this, you have completed the basic enrollment which allows you to transact online up to a maximum amount determined by PayPal, regardless of your available balance or credit limit. However, to get FULL USE* of your UnionBank card, you will be automatically enrolled in PayPal’s Expanded Use Program.

Expanded Use Enrollment

1. When you register your UnionBank Visa card, PayPal will charge you the equivalent of US$ 1.95 for expanded use. Pay Pal will credit you back the US$ 1.95 amount on your first PayPal transaction. For EON and eWallet cards, your account must have the equivalent of US$ 1.95 in pesos in order for the expanded use transaction to go through when you first enroll your card.
2. You will then be issued a 4-digit Expanded Use Number. But, please allow 5 days for the Expanded Use Number to reflect on your statement.
   • For UnionBank Visa Credit Cards, you can find it on your next monthly paper statement or by viewing your Visa Transaction History online.
   • For EON Visa Electron and eWallet Card holders, please contact the UnionBank Customer Service Call Center at 84-186 and ask the customer service agent to provide you with the 4-digit PayPal expanded use code.
3. Once you have this number, go back to the My Account Overview section of the PayPal web site and click on “Finish Expanded Use Enrollment” to enter the 4-digit number.
4. Upon entering your Expanded Use code, you will receive a confirmation message indicating that your credit card has been verified.

Congratulations! Your PayPal account is now verified for Expanded Use. For more details on linking your UnionBank Card with PayPal you can visit UnionBank’s Customer Service page, contact the Call Center hotline at 84-186 or visit the PayPal help site. For outside Manila card holders, Please contact UnionBank Customer Service Call Center at 1-800-1888-2277. I’ve just talked to one of their Customer Service agent and told me to call back1 4-5 banking days to allow the Expanded Use Number to reflect on my statement. I’ve added my EON debit card last Sunday September 30, 2007, so I’ll be getting my 4-digit PayPal expanded use code tomorrow or this friday October 5, 2007. I”ll update you for more soon.

Yes today is our 2nd wedding anniversary and I am so happy to have spent the day with my hubby and our blessing from God, our baby CT. Today happens to be my mother-in-law’s birthday too. So every year since two years ago, it’s a double celebration for our family. This candid photo was taken outside in the hotel hallway while waiting for our grand entrance at the start of the reception. It has been a very nice wedding and we enjoyed it.

This afternoon we went to Gaisano Mall coz we were having dinner to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. There was a wedding exhibit there which I will try to post soon the photos taken by my hubby. We met one of the photographers of the photo studio who covered our wedding and they were showing some of our pictures during our wedding two years ago. It’s been two years but we still have not finished our wedding album.

Yes it’s been two years and how time flies. But the memories I will forever cherish and every day is another opportunity to be happy and enjoy life much more of the blessings we continue to receive each day especially having a happy family of my own. I will continue to pray for happiness, peace, harmony, spiritual guidance, protection and continued blessings from God for my own family and our respective families too.

To my ever patient and loving partner in life forever, my hubby Charles, thank you so much for sharing your life to me and our baby CT and for always being there for us. I love you and our dear baby CT very, very much! Both of you are my precious treasures in my life now. Thank you for coming and being part of my life forever! Wordpress Version 2.3 “Dexter” is available for download now.

This release includes native tagging support, plugin update notification, URL handling improvements, and much more. This release is named for the great tenor saxophonist Dexter Gordon.

Here are the new features included:

1. Native tagging support allows you to use tags in addition to categories on your post, if you so choose. We’ve included importers for the Ultimate Tag Warrior, Jerome’s Keywords, Simple Tags, and Bunny’s Technorati Tag plugins so if you’ve already been using a tagging plugin you can bring your data into the new system. The tagging system is also wicked-fast, so your host won’t mind.
2. Our new update notification lets you know when there is a new release of WordPress or when any of the plugins you use has an update available. It works by sending your blog URL, plugins, and version information to our new api.wordpress.org service which then compares it to the plugin database and tells you what the latest and greatest is you can use.
3. We’ve cleaned up URLs a bunch in a feature we call canonical URLs which does things like enforce your no-www preference, redirect posts with changed slugs so a link never goes bad, redirect URLs that get cut off in emails on similar to the correct post, and much more. This helps your users, and it also helps your search engine optimization, as search engines like for each page to be available in one canonical location.
4. Our new pending review feature will be great for multi-author blogs. It allows authors to submit a post for review by an editor or administrator, where before they would just have to save a draft and hope someone noticed it.
5. There is new advanced WYSIWYG functionality (we call it the kitchen sink button) that allows you to access some features of TinyMCE that were previously hidden.

With the new features, I still have to wait for my hosting company Godaddy.com, still using Version 2.2.1, to upgrade to Version 2.3. I have read some comments in other blogs that they encounter plugins/plugin incompatibilities. I would love to hear your experience what you encounter If you already have done the upgrade to 2.3.

I have become a member at MyBlogLog community for a week now and I have discovered some popular and great blogs that I did not know about. I joined popular communities and monitored a little increase in traffic accessing my blog. Some say that Mybloglog become a cheap method of increasing traffic to your site. As for me, I really like MyBlogLog, because it is where you can make contacts easier. This is a good start for a newbie to have his blog noticed and increase your exposure, and I even like the idea of seeing visitor’s or bloggers pictures who visit on my blog.

I am very much pro MyBlogLog. Try it out, you’ll also probably like it. I was surprised at how much exposure and networking it spurred on on other blogs.
