Manny Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton match is definitely on. Manny Pacquiao has finally agreed to fight Ricky Hatton to a 52-48 PPV split share in his favor and is guaranteed a $12 million purse win or lose. They both agreed with a 140lb weight limit. And Yes this will be a title match, Hatton’s World Junior Welterweight Championship Belt is on the line. Of course, boxing matches is all about money and pride.

Pacquiao and Hatton will meet on May 2, 2009 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Pacman-Hitman tickets are already on sale last Friday January 30, 2009 with prices at $1,000, $750, $500, $350 and $150.  The outpouring of global interest for this bout is tremendous, and a quick sellout is expected.

“I’m really excited to get back in the ring in Vegas after beating Malignaggi in November,” said Hatton. “I am confident that I am the fighter to take down the pound-for-pound champion and I believe I will be victorious on May 2.”
