NFL Playoff Scenario 2010-2011
2010 NFL regular season has ended last Sunday January 2, 2011, NFL playoffs 2010-2011 live and schedule is set and Super Bowl XLV (45) follows a month after on February 6, 2011.
After Week 17 NFL games, the AFC and NFC playoff picture has been set. The AFC seedings has been settled and wrapped up by the Colts beating the Titans 23-20 in the Sunday afternoon game while the NFC was wrapped up by the Seahawks beating the Rams 16-6 on Sunday night Football. For the third time since 2006, the Jacksonville Jaguars were not able to close the deal after controlling their playoff destiny late in the season.

In the NFC …
- Atlanta Falcons clinched the NFC South title, a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. The Falcons now have two weeks to prepare for their next opponent, and it’s at home. Advantage: Atlanta.
- Chicago Bears clinched the NFC North title and a first-round bye. They enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the NFC.
- Philadelphia Eagles clinched the NFC East. They enter the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the NFC.
- Seattle Seahawks clinched the NFC West by beating the Rams. They enter the playoffs as the No. 4 seed in the NFC.
- New Orleans Saints clinched a playoff spot and enter the postseason as the No. 5 seed in the NFC.
- Green Bay Packers clinched a playoff berth by beating Chicago. They enter the postseason as the No. 6 seed in the NFC.
- New York Giants could never really recover from their devastating defeat to Philadelphia in Week 15, losing out on a playoff spot when the Packers beat the Bears. Now they face an offseason of uncertainty.
In the AFC (it is set)…
- New England Patriots clinched the AFC East, a first-round bye and home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
- Pittsburgh Steelers clinched the AFC North and a first-round bye. They enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the AFC.
- Indianapolis Colts clinched the AFC South by beating the Titans in Week 17. They enter the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the AFC.
- Kansas City Chiefs clinched the AFC West. They enter the playoffs as the No. 4 seed in the AFC.
- Baltimore Ravens clinched a wild-card berth and enter the postseason as the No. 5 seed in the AFC.
- New York Jets clinched a playoff spot in Week 16 and enter the postseason as the No. 6 seed in the AFC.
