The 2010 AFC–NFC Pro Bowl is an upcoming NFL Pro Bowl game to honor the all-star players of the 2009 NFL season as selected by fans and their peers.
This is the first time ever that the Pro Bowl is held before the championship game, the Super Bowl, and the first time that the Pro Bowl will be held somewhere other than Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii since 1979 (1978 NFL season).
The annual game between the AFC’s and NFC’s best will take place at 8:00 PM EST on Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, South Florida, the home stadium of the Miami Dolphins and host site of Super Bowl 44 Live.
The 2010 Pro Bowl was moved up in order to prevent a conflict with the game facing against the NBA All-Star Game, Winter Olympics, and Daytona 500. Due to the change, players from the AFC-NFC conference championship teams—the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints—will not be participating to prevent them from injuries.

ESPN will air the 2010 Pro Bowl Live instead of CBS, which will be airing the 52nd Grammy Awards Live instead.

Game Recap
Thanks to the Pro Bowl, the scoreboard in Miami is all warmed up for Super Bowl 44.
Long gains were the rule and hard hitting was the exception Sunday night as the AFC all-stars beat the NFC 41-34.
Light showers fell for much of the game, stirring memories of a rainy Super Bowl in Miami three years ago, but the weather failed to slow either offense. The AFC’s Matt Schaub and the NFC’s Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdown passes each, and DeSean Jackson caught two scoring passes for the NFC.
Spectators included the Pro Bowl players from the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees took the night off because they’ll meet on the same field in the Super Bowl next Sunday. ([via: Yahoo! Sports]
