Minnesota Vikings advances to NFC Conference Championship
Minnesota Vikings defeated Dallas Cowboys 34-3 to advance to the NFC Conference Championship title game and set up a date against the New Orleans Saints next week on Sunday January 24.
Brett Favre threw four touchdown passes, and the Vikings’ defense put the clamps on the Dallas Cowboys.
Sidney Rice had six catches for 141 yards and three touchdowns and the Vikings sacked Tony Romo six times to earn a trip to New Orleans. The Vikings (13-4) will try for their first Super Bowl berth since 1977.
Next up, Minnesota will visit New Orleans for the NFC Conference Playoff title game and has a chance for the Super Bowl 44 live on February 7th.
