What is Valentine’s Day? Valentine’s day is a holiday celebrated every 14th of February. It is the traditional day on which lovers, family and friends express their love for each other by sending gifts such as Valentine’s cards, flowers, offering confectionery and others.

Here’s a brief history of Valentine’s Day. This holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine or Saint Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.[From wikipedia.org]
