Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day, as others say, is a joyous family festival celebrated with enthusiasm in US, Canada and several other countries. How about here in the Philippines, do we celebrated this day? Maybe some do, but for me I have no idea.
What really is Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day(in the U.S.)? Thanksgiving Day is usually celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, at the end of their harvest season. Thanksgiving Day is an annual American Federal holiday to express thanks for one’s material and spiritual possessions. Most Americans celebrate this day by gathering at home with family or friends for a holiday feast. The period from Thanksgiving Day to New Year’s Day often is called the holiday season.
Ratified.org is a new directory featuring the best Filipino blogs in the blogosphere. Using data from Technorati.com, each blog’s statistics such as rank, links and other information are gathered and stored. The data is then used as the basis for ranking Ratified.org’s top 100 Philippine blogs. Ratified.org was developed by Andrew dela Serna, creator of Alleba.com and DotaStrategy.com.
Ratified.org has just recently released the list of the Philippines Top 100 Blogs of 2008 and was presented last October 21 (Davao), 23 (Cebu), and 25 (Manila), 2008. The said list contains the top blogs that achieved the most growth during the year of 2008.

Literally, I am back online here in my blog. Many of you have noticed that I haven’t posted for almost two months now and my traffic suffered alot for the lack of post and updates. I know too that my visitors and guests are wondering where I am and what I am up to. We’ll I am here now and still trying to update my blog as much as possible. 
While I was away, I have been busy with my work, prioritizing my family and also busy with our new found hobby, digital photography which consumed most of my blogging time.
For the following future posts, I will be reviewing our new Nikon D60 DSLR with kit lens which we bought last Aprill 2008. Also, I will be reviewing our new AF-S VR Zoom Nikkor Lens 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G IF-ED. Also, watch out for Manny Pacquiao vs David Diaz Boxing Fight next week. So watch out for that. Of course, I will be doing some SEO for those tech gadgets and boxing fight and videos. I am back.

My web host blocked my site for about an hour because of the traffic surge it encountered and is using above the 10% limit for cpu resources. Good thing, Eugene is kind and helpful enough in unblocking my site and allowed me to fix my site by deactivating some plugins and by using the temporary default wordpress theme for the mean time so as to lessen the use of wordpress plugins. Before my site was blocked, I have monitored that there are around 200-300 guests/visitors accessing my site simultaneously. Wow my first time to experience such surge of traffic. Had I known and change my theme, earlier before the fight, to a simpler default wordpress theme, maybe my site could have handled the surge of traffic smoothly. Just maybe
