I hope this doesn’t get boring like Manny’s last fight. That was terrible. He outclassed his opponent at every round.

Manny is one of the best boxers in the world.

How true Teejay. In the last fight, I was watching more advertisements than the fight itself. Plus it was really boring.

Thanks for bringing this up Charles. I’m going to look forward to this.

Truth is.. We just have so many advertisements on TV. It sometimes tell me to just apply for a cable television service. Not that I’d see it there at the same time as the actual fight.

But at the time we’d finish watching the fight on local TV, people could watch the replay on cable (exaggerated) :|

As for me, just as I saw the first fight of Pacquiao vs Barrera, I knew from then on that Barrera is no match to Pacquiao. Even if they will have so many rematch, still Pacquiao will win hands down. And for the fact that Barrera is old now. :)

truth is marquez is not the best match for manny…manny’s opponent must be a slugger/aggressive boxer like him for a slambang, exciting match…to marquez manny is the best match and will work to marquez advantage…just look at the last fight they had…even with the three knockdowns marquez won that match by points…why because of their styles manny is at a disadvantage..a counterpuncher vs a slugger the counterpuncher almost always wins..Unless pacman knocks him out cold in the early rounds but if it goes the distance …a draw is manny’s best score..
Pacman’s camp knows that too well, how in the world did it take 3 years before this rematch!
Of course, every Filipino would be rooting for manny, but I hope he knocks him out before the final bell rings.

I agree with you on this Jim. Manny has no other option in this fight but to knock Marquez out in the early or middle rounds. :)

Not the best match for manny, he’s a counter puncher so if he doesnt mix it up with pacman then we will have another boring match…manny must knock him out early or he can lose on points..or at best a draw again…

Just one hit now Marquez is out. He can counter only if he is not hit.

first off, i want to say a few things that are on my mind, a few things that ordinary ignorant people let go by, and that is the fact that manny the pacman pacquiao is not a boxer, he can punch i don’t take that away from him, but besides his left punch, he really doesn’t have anything in his artilary box!!!!!!!!!!!!, every time he fights a well rounded “real fighter” he brakes under preasure, he could not finish the job against Marquez, on both ocations……….., he proves that he will be a pig when he is lossing, and he proved that by using his head as a fist on the second bout, three times!!!!!!!!!!!!”accidental head butts” my ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!if he goes up in weight he will get his ass whoopped by either juan diaz or cazamayor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!long live “Real Boxers”!

What satanus said is half truth! true pacman packs a wallop with his left..true that marquez is a boxer but on a bicycle he he..he knows he cant stand toe to toe with the pacman so hed rather put on his pedal everytime he gets hit or even before he gets one! truth is pacman has improved his right hook and right cross(if you know youre boxing man).He has used that mightily with barrera and morales..problem with marquez is he didnt come to fight but just to collect his paycheck..He got head butt coz he too wants to head butt.. as Ive commented earlier marquez is not the best match for manny..if you want to give the peoples money worth..give him someone who wants a fight not ball room dancing…remember this isnt the olympics!where the mere jab is counted the same as a knockout punch..THIS IS THE PROFESSIONAL BOXING where the judges are pros!
I just hope they dont do a rematch again..We need manny to excite the world some more with better opponents..with respect to marquez well he can retire into oblivion…or be just a sparmate of champions..Hes unexciting as can be anyway…(that is why even in mexico hes not as popular as Barrera or morales even when he holds the crown).

Pacman is the winner because of his lefthook that makes Marquez knock-downed at the third round
