The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards Live will take place on Sunday January 31, 2010 and CBS will broadcast the event live which will take place again at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California for the 7th consecutive year.

A total of 109 awards will be presented at the Grammy Awards. 99 of the awards will be presented during the pre-telecast portion. Neil Young was honored as the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year on January 29, two days prior to the Grammy telecast.

Beyoncé leads the nominees with ten (10) nominations, Taylor Swift and Black Eyed Peas with eight, Maxwell, Kanye West with six nominations, and David Guetta, Jay-Z and Lady Gaga with five nominations. Others included are Colbie Caillat, Kings of Leon, Bruce Springsteen, T-Pain, and Keith Urban each received four nominations. The nominations was announced tonight last December 2, 2009 during a live television special called The 2010 GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!
