The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards Live will take place on Sunday January 31, 2010 and CBS will broadcast the event live which will take place again at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California for the 7th consecutive year.
A total of 109 awards will be presented at the Grammy Awards. 99 of the awards will be presented during the pre-telecast portion. Neil Young was honored as the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year on January 29, two days prior to the Grammy telecast.
Miss America 2010 is the 89th Miss America pageant and was held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas Saturday night January 30, 2010. Miss America 2009 Katie Stam from Indiana crowned her successor at the end of the event.
Contestants from all 50 states along with District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico competed for the prestigious title. The pageant was broadcasted live via TLC. This edition was the 5th year that Las Vegas hosted the pageant.
The 2010 AFC–NFC Pro Bowl is an upcoming NFL Pro Bowl game to honor the all-star players of the 2009 NFL season as selected by fans and their peers.
This is the first time ever that the Pro Bowl is held before the championship game, the Super Bowl, and the first time that the Pro Bowl will be held somewhere other than Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii since 1979 (1978 NFL season).

Carrie Underwood National Anthem Super Bowl 44 2010
The newly-engaged country sweetheart Carrie Underwood, a four-time Grammy Award winner, will sing The Star-Spangled Banner, the US National Anthem, while Queen Latifah will sing “America the Beautiful” as part of Super Bowl 44 pregame festivities at Sun Life Stadium in South Florida on Sunday February 7 and will be televised live on CBS before the Super Bowl 44 Live kickoff game where the Indianapolis Colts take on the New Orleans Saints.
