Blogging Tips to share: A Good Read (10-12-2007)

Posted under Blogging & Tips on October 12th 2007 with 1 Comment

First of all, Good day! Been busy with my regular day job that’s why I haven’t posted for almost a week now.

I have just read and visited some make money online blog sites and as for me, I admit that some of their blog posts are helpful, very informative and cool, that it should be shared.

Here are the links for a good read blogging tips:

41 Reasons Why Your Blog Probably Sucks

13. Not posting regularly. There are two primary reasons that not posting regularly is “bad”. One is that readers lose patience when they don’t your schedule. (Not everyone uses an RSS reader.) The other reason is that search engine spiders often index your pages on a frequency proportional to your posting. The more you post, the more frequently you might get indexed, thus increasing the chances of search engine traffic. (Note that in some niches such as politics, you need to post 10-20 times per day to get noticed.) At the least, if you can’t post regularly, have a consistent schedule that’s obvious to your most loyal readers.

The Top 10 Blogging Mistakes I Made in My First Year

8 – I didn’t promote my feed.
Sure, I had the link there for people to subscribe – but I didn’t take subscription promotion seriously until 6-7 months into the game. I think my numbers would be a lot higher today if I had done some more actual promotion of subscribing to the eMoms feed. (Go ahead, you know you want to…)

5 WordPress Hosting Lessons :: How to Survive the Digg Effect

If you need to find a good WordPress Hosting Company, I can say from experience, don’t go with GoDaddy and DON’T GO WITH YAHOO (probably the worst WordPress hosting out there, actually). Go with Blue Host or one of these companies who offer both great tech support as well as Fantastico, which makes WordPress installation and setup a breeze.

**opsss, time to change hosting. :)

How to Draw StumbleUpon Users Into Your Blog

4. Be unique, be pretty
While it’s difficult to judge the quality of a blog’s content in just a few seconds, people are much more hasty with aesthetic judgments. A gorgeous or interesting blog design encourages a stumbler to stick around and see whether the content is great too.
Of course, a great design is a lot of work (or quite a bit of money). The next-best thing is a unique logo or header image, an interesting color scheme, and so on. There are a number of small changes you can make to create a blog that looks unique and sets you apart from the crowd.

If You Don’t Place Ads On Your Blog Now, You’ll Hate Yourself Later

Whether you want to admit it or not, you care about money. You probably make the majority of your income working nine to five or doing some sort of Internet thing, but why not try and make a few bucks by placing some ads on your blog?

**It’s all about money :D

My Best Blog Tip EVER Series – Yaro Starak

Most bloggers fail before they reach success for no other reason than giving up too early. There is no more powerful blog-killing force than the blogger themselves giving up due to boredom, despair or lack of results early on.

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao beats Marco Antonio Barrera again

Posted under Sports on October 7th 2007 with 2 Comments

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao beats Marco Antonio Barrera againSuper featherweight superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao beats Marco Antonio Barrera second time around, this time in a unanimous decision win. Unlike the first fight, there were no knockdowns but the anticipation of one kept the crowd on its feet as both Filipino and Mexican fans cheered wildly throughout the 12 rounds. Both fighters began slowly and tactically as they measured each other carefully. But Pacquiao dominated and landed more power shots and Barrrera concentrating in counterpunching style.

In our home with my family, we were so thrilled as the round goes by because of our anticipation of who will be KO’ed. My prediction is a knockout by Pacquiao but nonetheless, still a win by Manny Pacquiao in a unanimous decision. Some say it’s a boring fight, but as for me, it’s a good tactical fight.

Pacquiao vs Barrera II – The Will To Win

Posted under SEO, Sports on October 7th 2007 with 1 Comment

Pacquiao vs Barrera II - The Will To WinManny “Pacman” Pacquiao vs Marco Antonio Barrera fight scheduled rematch entitled “The Will To Win” will start at 8 p.m. Saturday in Las Vegas. Sunday 11 a.m. in Manila.

My prediction, “Pacman” Pacquiao will win by a knockout(KO). Why? Because for the 3 fights between Barrera vs Erik Morales, Barrera can’t even knock Morales down while Pacquiao knocked-out Erik Morales in their last fight. That’s for me. If Barrera resorts to dirty tactics then there’s a slight chance that Barrera will win through a decision but not a knockout. But I am sure Pacman team is ready for this.

We will be watching the fight live in our home with my family and In-laws. More of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao news in PACLAND.

2nd Wedding Anniversary

Posted under Personal on October 1st 2007 with 3 Comments

Qouted from Tere.

2nd Wedding Anniversary

Yes today is our 2nd wedding anniversary and I am so happy to have spent the day with my hubby and our blessing from God, our baby CT. Today happens to be my mother-in-law’s birthday too. So every year since two years ago, it’s a double celebration for our family. This candid photo was taken outside in the hotel hallway while waiting for our grand entrance at the start of the reception. It has been a very nice wedding and we enjoyed it.

This afternoon we went to Gaisano Mall coz we were having dinner to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. There was a wedding exhibit there which I will try to post soon the photos taken by my hubby. We met one of the photographers of the photo studio who covered our wedding and they were showing some of our pictures during our wedding two years ago. It’s been two years but we still have not finished our wedding album.

Yes it’s been two years and how time flies. But the memories I will forever cherish and every day is another opportunity to be happy and enjoy life much more of the blessings we continue to receive each day especially having a happy family of my own. I will continue to pray for happiness, peace, harmony, spiritual guidance, protection and continued blessings from God for my own family and our respective families too.

To my ever patient and loving partner in life forever, my hubby Charles, thank you so much for sharing your life to me and our baby CT and for always being there for us. I love you and our dear baby CT very, very much! Both of you are my precious treasures in my life now. Thank you for coming and being part of my life forever! May God bless our family and respective families always
