I have also awaited for Paypal..

Keep me posted if you have successfully withdraw funds from Unionbank account.

Can I ask what are the requirements for opening an EON account? How long is the processing of it?

Thanks!

Hi!

I was wondering if you could help me with my EON card predicament.

I just availed of my EON card and tested it on an ATM. It works since I was able to check my pin and go through balance inquiry (though I haven’t done any deposit in it).

But when I tried to place it via ‘Add Card’ feature in Paypal, this msg comes out:

” This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer’s customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card. ”

So I was wondering how were you able to make yours work? I really want to make EON work on my paypal asap but it seems there isn’t no clearcut procedure on how to do so. :(

Pleeeeeeeease help me! *cries

@Jasmine
Sorry for your experience using EON in PayPal. Details to consider,
Are you registering Philippines as your country?
Do you have enough funds in your EON account? because PayPal will deduct/charge you $1.95 for adding your credit/debit card.
If yes to those details and still your EON card is denied, I guess you have to call their Customer Service Call Center at Domestic Toll Free number 1-800-1888-2277 and relay your problem.
I hope that this will be resolved immediately.

Same thing is happening to me. I think your answer is correct…you need to have at least the $1.95 for Paypal to withdraw, as your card is automatically added to the expanded use program. I have emailed Unionbank Customer Service about this….and will be depositing P100 into my account anyway just to get the card linked in Paypal. Good Luck.

Confirmation from UnionBank -
You must have at least P90 in your Eon account to cover the PayPal withdrawal for verification of your card.
I have successfully added my Eon card with PayPal.

You can obtain your expuse number by emailing Unionbank from the email feature within the online banking page of your card. Got my number after 3 days only.
Register for online banking at the Unionbank page, then email them once you are logged in…easy.

How do you contact the customer service for Unionbank? I mean I cant use the number you posted … either via landline or skype of through my mobile …

As far as I know, their Toll Free number is 1-800-1888-2277. You have to use PLDT landline, I think. I haven’t use skype, mobile, or other telephone company other than pldt.

Hi Wena!

If you have a Cyberaccount with Unionbank, just use the MAIL feature to get in touch with their Customer Service. They will attend to your needs within 24 hours.

Usually it would take around 4-5 days to know your EXPUSE number.
Just email them at UBP.EONSERVICES@unionbankph.com or at customer.service@unionbankph.com

Hope this helps. Try to ask them about your EXPUSE #.

hi, i got also verified my eon debit account in paypal but my question is
diba mag cha charge ang paypal ng $1.95 and after ka na verified they will give back the $1.95 into your UB account. but sa akin wla pa. ano kaya problem nito.

Please help does it takes days or weeks before maibabalik ung amount?

cely Said,

hindi na maibabalik ang amount kasi charge ka ng 1.95$… isa na yon sa mga transaction payment nila… sa lahat naman ng nalilito. lagyan nyo pa muna ng amount atleast 100 peso bago kayo maglink sa mga EON nyo as it is being charge talaga…. try lang then we will know..
