Posted under Blogging & Tips on October 27th 2007 with No Comments »

Just after reading some blogs about pagerank dropping down 1 to 4 notches, I am quite relieved and excited to have read a post from McBilly, that Google or Big G also gives away pagerank and is updating.

So I check at Prchecker.info and DigPageRank.com just to be sure if the pagerank of this site, Nierva dot Com, had added up. True enough and a valid one, I have now a PR3 coming from PR0.

PayPal withdrawal with UnionBank EON CyberAccount

Posted under Make Money Online, Paypal on October 22nd 2007 with 111 Comments

Success! At last, I have just withdrew my earnings from my PayPal account to my UnionBank EON CyberAccount debit card. After PayPal secretly announced that Philippine PayPal users could use their Credit Cards and Debit Cards to withdraw their paypal funds, I verified and tried my UnionBank EON CyberAccount debit card that has a Visa Electron logo on it. It took 5 banking days to wait to get my funds posted in my UnionBank EON CyberAccount online.

I fully withdrew a total amount of $105.84 in my PayPal with a fee of $5 last October 11, 2007 and after 5 banking days, it was successfully posted in my UnionBank EON online account.

Kontera now offers PayPal for Publisher Payment

Posted under Make Money Online on October 18th 2007 with No Comments »

Good news to Kontera publishers. I’ve just received email that Kontera now offers Paypal for Publisher payment.

Dear Kontera Partner,

Did you know that we are offering payment through PayPal for our publishers? Instead of waiting for your check to arrive by mail, the income from your site will be automatically and securely transferred to your PayPal account.

Start reaping the benefits of PayPal and get your payments sooner!

Please be advised that PayPal payments still follow Kontera standard payment terms.

  • Our payment terms are Net 30, first week of the month, when balance exceeds US$100.
  • This means we send publishers their revenue by check or EFT, the first week of the month, 30 days after the month that they have earned this revenue, when the account balance reaches US$100, unless a payment hold exists or unless otherwise agreed to in writing (including electronic mail).
  • For example, if you earn $40 in January and $70 in February, we’ll send payment to you the first week of April.
  • If your account balance is less than US$100 at the end of the month, earnings over US$5 (for all your sites combined) is rolled forward to the following month, until the payment threshold is reached.
  • Please note that if a publisher’s account is found to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions, agreements or policies, we may at any time withhold payment (beginning from when Kontera initiates its investigation of potential violations), charge back the publisher’s account, and/or refund advertisers for clicks received on the publisher’s site.

If you have any other account updates, such as your address, your phone number, email address etc. simply reply to this email indicating the changes you want us to make.As always, we look forward to continuing our successful partnership with you, and implementing even more tools to enhance your experience with us in the coming months. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions at support@kontera.com

Thank you,

Posted under Videos on October 14th 2007 with 1 Comment

I have just recently found and watched this video on how to install vista in 2 minutes and I have decided to share it if you haven’t watched it yet. This video has been posted and uploaded last february 2007. I just find this video funny and true. It’s just that to others it may have been a horror story in installing Vista for incompatibilities in their hardware, so does this make Microsoft bad? Post your comments.

Blogging Tips to share: A Good Read (10-12-2007)

Posted under Blogging & Tips on October 12th 2007 with 1 Comment

First of all, Good day! Been busy with my regular day job that’s why I haven’t posted for almost a week now.

I have just read and visited some make money online blog sites and as for me, I admit that some of their blog posts are helpful, very informative and cool, that it should be shared.

Here are the links for a good read blogging tips:

41 Reasons Why Your Blog Probably Sucks

13. Not posting regularly. There are two primary reasons that not posting regularly is “bad”. One is that readers lose patience when they don’t your schedule. (Not everyone uses an RSS reader.) The other reason is that search engine spiders often index your pages on a frequency proportional to your posting. The more you post, the more frequently you might get indexed, thus increasing the chances of search engine traffic. (Note that in some niches such as politics, you need to post 10-20 times per day to get noticed.) At the least, if you can’t post regularly, have a consistent schedule that’s obvious to your most loyal readers.

The Top 10 Blogging Mistakes I Made in My First Year

8 – I didn’t promote my feed.
Sure, I had the link there for people to subscribe – but I didn’t take subscription promotion seriously until 6-7 months into the game. I think my numbers would be a lot higher today if I had done some more actual promotion of subscribing to the eMoms feed. (Go ahead, you know you want to…)

5 WordPress Hosting Lessons :: How to Survive the Digg Effect

If you need to find a good WordPress Hosting Company, I can say from experience, don’t go with GoDaddy and DON’T GO WITH YAHOO (probably the worst WordPress hosting out there, actually). Go with Blue Host or one of these companies who offer both great tech support as well as Fantastico, which makes WordPress installation and setup a breeze.

**opsss, time to change hosting. :)

How to Draw StumbleUpon Users Into Your Blog

4. Be unique, be pretty
While it’s difficult to judge the quality of a blog’s content in just a few seconds, people are much more hasty with aesthetic judgments. A gorgeous or interesting blog design encourages a stumbler to stick around and see whether the content is great too.
Of course, a great design is a lot of work (or quite a bit of money). The next-best thing is a unique logo or header image, an interesting color scheme, and so on. There are a number of small changes you can make to create a blog that looks unique and sets you apart from the crowd.

If You Don’t Place Ads On Your Blog Now, You’ll Hate Yourself Later

Whether you want to admit it or not, you care about money. You probably make the majority of your income working nine to five or doing some sort of Internet thing, but why not try and make a few bucks by placing some ads on your blog?

**It’s all about money :D

My Best Blog Tip EVER Series – Yaro Starak

Most bloggers fail before they reach success for no other reason than giving up too early. There is no more powerful blog-killing force than the blogger themselves giving up due to boredom, despair or lack of results early on.
